HOLIDAY LOOKS FOR YOUR HOME

fiIt’s that time of year when you’ve finished your spring cleaning, created space for visitors and Christmas gifts, and your home is ready for some festive cheer.

Traditionally, Christmas décor includes a green tree, multi-coloured lights and sparkling tinsel, but that doesn’t necessarily have to be your style. This year, we have conceptualised four different holiday looks for your home, so you can add your personal touch and stay on trend this festive season.

Glamour

Add a little sparkle to your home with a few gold and silver pieces this year. Replace your 1multi-coloured lights with simple white fairy lights and decorate your tree with metallic bows or these cute golden reindeers. You could even go for a set of gold cutlery or a rose gold charger plate to give your Christmas table that extra shine. Add a gold reindeer snow globe or a glitter reindeer statue and you’re all set to impress your guests.

Vintage

Creating a vintage look is easy with a few additions to your home. Hang a selection of these stylish Christmas stockings or display this big present sack filled with gifts for your family. Put up your Christmas tree and stick 2to one colour, white or glass decorations. Make space for a few artistic pieces on your wall too, like this white LED lit star or go all out with a white wreath on your front door.

Natural

If a natural look is more your style, buy a real fir Christmas tree and decorate it with pine cones and these pretty leaf stars. For your Christmas table, use a hessian table runner and a few signature pieces such this green owl statue or a mini tree. A few candles with red details will add instant style, and for the finishing touch, add a pine cone wreath to your door to welcome your friends and family.

3Traditional

If in the end you’re a traditionalist, then you can’t go wrong with a beautiful big Christmas tree, a few baubles and a big star for the top. Don’t forget the fairy lights and some twinkling tinsel to make it shimmer. Decorate your Christmas table with mini trees and a few candles for a festive look – and pop open that champagne the minute the festivities kick off!

Whatever your style, remember to enjoy every moment of the festive season. It’s a time for giving, quality time with loved ones and all the delicious food you can eat. Happy holidays!
